A Love for Pediatric Dentistry

Every day I get to help change people’s perception of dentistry. By working with children, I’m able to assist in creating a generation that loves to visit the dentist. Working with my young patients, delivering painless dental care, and showing them that coming to see me can be a fun and enjoyable experience, are personally and professionally rewarding.

I am particularly fulfilled when my team and I meet a young patient who is scared of the dentist, and we are able to gently, slowly help them learn that dentists and dental offices aren’t scary places. Here, we take the time to get to know each patient, and we show them around the office, explaining our tools and what they do. Children are naturally curious, and if we can remove the fear of the unknown for them, they become excited about their dental care.

Whether I’m helping a patient get out of pain, or delivering preventive care that will stop a small issue before it becomes a big problem, I’m always attentive to the child and their needs. Along with my team, I work hard to connect with each patient and develop a rapport with them, caring for them as I would my own child.
